'Living Coral' - How to incorporate 2019's Pantone Colour of the Year - Inspiration

February 27, 2019

You may have already heard that 2019's Pantone Colour of the Year is the vibrant 'Living Coral'. A pinky-orange shade, this colour is set to inspire designers across a range of industries and we're bound to start seeing this fun-loving colour working its way into their designs and products as the year goes on.

According to Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Colour Institute, 'consumers crave human interaction and social connection, the humanising and heartening qualities displays by the conceal Pantone Living Coral hit a responsive chord.'

But what does this mean for you as a bride to be?

Well, you're certainly going to see a lot more of this colour around, and it's inevitably going to make its way into countless weddings this year, whether it be through the bridesmaid dresses, florals or linens. I'm particularly excited about this playful shade, since it has the ability to radiate so much fun and energy into a Wedding, without coming off looking too 'girly'. The shade will also look fantastic with gold or silver accents, both of which are still very much on trend. Paired with gold, Living Coral is set to create a warm, lustrous glow. Paired with silver, you'll create a modern and fresh vibe.
